Parking at the Kolbensattel - subject to a fee!
Parking is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Please note: Parking is subject to a fee. Overnight parking is not permitted! Parking costs €5 per parking session. The first 59 minutes per day are free.
The license plate is scanned when you enter. Before you exit, you must activate the license plate by paying at one of the two payment machines. The data is then immediately deleted from the system.
Card payments are accepted as well as payment with coins - the payment machine doesn't change! Please report any problems or questions to Mobility Hub at support@mh-parkservice.de or by phone at +49 89 277 829 951 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Directions to the Kolbensattel
Without traffic jams to Oberammergau
Leave the A95 motorway at the "Sindelsdorf" exit and turn right toward Murnau. In Murnau, follow the signs towards Oberammergau. At the first entrance to Oberammergau, turn left, then right, and drive under the bridge, following the signs to the parking lot.
From Augsburg / Schongau
From the B 472 (Schongau/Peiting bypass), turn right onto the B 23 towards Oberammergau. Turn left at the first entrance to Oberammergau (north entrance) and immediately right under the bridge, following the signs to the parking lot.
Or do you prefer to travel by train?
Change trains in Murnau and enjoy the scenic journey to Oberammergau. From the train station, it's about a 10-minute walk to the valley station of the Kolben chairlift.
